2009 Buell 1125 Cafe Racer
Buell have released pics and brief technical details of their 1125CR model, which is a cafe racer take on their 2008 flagship, liquid-cooled 1125R sportbike.
The 1125 CR features `ace’ bars, a 146bhp V-Twin engine, running lower gearing. The 1125CR also has a longer swingarm, which should go some way in stopping the wheelies becoming too lairy.
There are typical Cafe Racer details in the shape of a nose fairing, plus tail cowl, to give the 1125CR a blend of old fashioned sporty style, built around a modern chassis.
All 2009 Buells get a new final drive belt, which the factory claim will be stronger and more durable, plus there are various styling tweaks to the existing range. The Lightning machines have an upgraded front disc brake too.

October 21st, 2009I bought one and cant say that its dissapointing in the least. Its different then anything japan has offered in years, handles great and has power out the ying yang. The styling can be disputed but ill tell you that your not going to be thinking anything of it while your tearing through a hairpin at over 60 mph. If your in the market for something with style and grizzly like grace then get down and buy one while the timing is still good. Did i mention that buell won the ama pro championship and discontinuing production?
