2009 Peugeot Speedfight

Peugeot Moto UK, the importer for Peugeot scooters in the UK, has announced the 2009 line-up of Speedfight 50 scooter models.

The Speedfight has proved one of the most popular 50cc scooters on the UK commuter market for the last decade, offering a mix of decent peroformance, reliability and fuel economy. There’s a new Mk 3 model expected later in 2009, but for now the Mk 2 Speedfight is available in new colours schemes for 2009, with the top-of-the-range Speedfight 50 R-Cup model featuring fashionable white paintwork, with Peugeot WRC logo designs.

With features like the `wavy’ front disc brake, a liquid-cooled, emissions-friendly two-stroke engine and sharp-angled twin headlights, the Speedfight is one of the best looking scooters around, and comes with a two-year warranty.

Prices start at £1729 for the LR model, rising to £1879 for the R-Cup, with prices reflecting the recent cut in VAT to 15%. More info at; www.peugeotmoto.co.uk
