2011 Wirral Egg Run

The 2011 Wirral Egg Run will take place on Sunday 17 April to once again raise funds for good causes in the Wirral area.

Now in its 31st year, the Wirral Egg Run is an annual event which raises money for local children, children’s charities and donates Easter eggs to hospitalised children in the area. As one of the largest motorcycle events in the area, the 2010 run saw 15,000 bikers and 30,000 spectators along the route come together to raise more than £29,000 for good causes.

Anybody looking to take part in the 2010 event or to make a donation should visit www.wirraleggrun.co.uk. Volunteers to work as foot stewards are also being sought to support the smooth running of this popular and worthwhile event.
