Aprilia leak details of 1200 Dorsoduro

Aprilia appears to have unwittingly confirmed that the 1200 Dorsoduro will soon be coming to a dealer near you after a service manual appeared on the company’s website.

Whilst speculation has hinted that a larger version of the current 750 V-twin which was released in 2007, Aprilia had not confirmed any such plans.

But the company appears to have dropped a major PR gaffe after what appears to be a service manual for 1200 Dorsoduro ABS model appeared on the company website yesterday, which is still available for download at the time of writing.

The bike will come with optional ABS and will feature a bigger chassis with a longer wheelbase, a more relaxed steering geometry and fully adjustable Sachs suspension.

The bike is now expected to go on public view for the first time in November at this year’s EICMA Show in Milan.
