Bautista has op for broken collarbone

Álvaro Bautista has undergone surgery after fracturing a collarbone in a motocross accident but has been given the go-ahead to ride at Le Mans.

The Rizla Suzuki rider went under the knife on Friday morning after suffering a fractured clavicle in a motocross training accident.

Due to the nature of the fracture, which was a clean one, the Rizla Suzuki rider has been given the go-ahead by the surgeon who performed the operation to ride at the French Grand Prix next weekend and the 25 year-old plans to take part in the third round at Le Mans.

Suzuki have yet to make any comment on Bautista’s injury.
