BMW announce new models
BMW have lifted the curtain on two special editions for 2011, with new models of the F800 ST Touring and the K 1300 R Dynamic.
The new editions will join the BMW range of motorcycles next year, providing customers with a range of factory-fit options and accessories at a significant saving. There are also new audio options for the R 1200 RT. A selection of new colour schemes are available across the range, including two for the award-winning S 1000 RR supersport bike.
The F 800 ST, BMW claims, is a popular parallel twin sports-touring motorcycle which combines an economic engine with a sporty chassis and looks. The ‘Touring’ special edition is designed to make long-distance riding even easier with a range of options and accessories.
Features on the F 800 ST include ABS, key-matched, expandable Sport Panniers (15L-25L capacity each side), on-board computer, heated grips and £1658 worth of official BMW options and accessories. It is available at £8,510 OTR, a saving of £458 over standard model.
The K 1300 R is BMW’s largest capacity naked street bike, designed with sleek, minimalist looks very much in mind. The ‘Dynamic’ special edition features a selection of options and accessories which enhance its aesthetics and performance even further.
Features include electronic Suspension Adjustment 2, gear shift assist, sports wheels, on-board computer, heated grips, sport windshield and LED indicators. It is priced at £11,250 OTR, a saving of £835 over the standard model.
