BMW makes burning impression

BMW has come up with a innovative way of advertising their brand, by “burning” it onto the eyes of cinema goers.

The novel advertising technique has taken inspiration from the way that the human eye reacts to bright light. The technique utilises a bright flash positioned behind a movie projection screen. The BMW logo is brightly flashed onto the screen near the end of this motorcycle ad. Viewers only experience a quick, unidentifiable flash, but when the ad finishes and viewers are instructed to close their eyes, the logo appears in their vision, before and slowly fading away.

The ad features former BMW superbike rider Ruben Xaus and was tested on an unsuspecting audience….
