Bulldog Bash is go for 2009
Police objections to the Bulldog Bash, a biker festival which takes place at Long Marston, near Stratford-on-Avon each August, have been over-ruled by Stratford council.
The council felt that the Police objections to the event didn’t contain enough evidence to warrant a review of its decision to grant the Bulldog an event licence. The Police usually mount a large-scale vehicle check operation, and block several local roads off when the Bash is on, a tactic criticised by the organisers, who state that there has never been any gang-related trouble at the Bulldog Bash.
This year sees Motorhead, UFO and Saxon amngst the bands playing live, with Run-Wot-Ya-Brung drag racing all weekend, demo rides on Triumph motorcycles available, plus jet cars, rocket bikes and stunt riders will all be putting on a spectacular show.
Tickets for the weekend are available in advance at £50 per person, with a price of £55 on the gate. More details at; www.bulldogbash.com
