Crossrunner priced at £9,075
Honda’s new Crossrunner will hit dealers this summer with a price tag of £9,075 OTR, placing it on a par with Yamaha’s Fazer 8 ABS.
The price, including DVLA fees and taxes, puts the ABS-equipped Honda on a par with the £8,999 Yamaha, although similar models from Triumph and BMW do undercut the new Crossrunner.
Honda claims that the VFR800-powered, V4, ABS-equipped Crossrunner provides the performance of a ‘Naked’ but styling of an ‘Adventure’ bike, with the model receiving a positive reception at Carole Nash Motorcycle Live last November, where it made its UK debut.
.The Crossrunner has also been designed with pillion comfort in mind with a lower rear seat designed for easy mounting and, positioning the pillion at a similar level to the rider, resulting in improved wind protection and an enhanced ride feel. Its ABS equipped braking system as standard further enhances the machine’s performance and safety, while the wide handlebar configuration contributes to quick, accurate and responsive steering input.
Colour options for the Crossrunner include Black and Silver, Pearl White and Matt Silver, as well as Candy and Silver, while the machine’s versatility is further extended by a range of Honda Genuine accessories to include a 29-litre pannier kit and sleek 31-litre top box, heated grips and higher windscreen.
