Don’t miss Stafford with Steve

Easter weekend 2011 (23-24 April), sees yet another American racing legend grace the stage at the 31st.

Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show, when Steve Baker, the USA’s first World Champion, makes a rare visit to the UK!

Steve will appear on stage both days, ‘wowing’ the public with his stories of trials and tribulations and giving fans the opportunity to get their memorabilia signed after each interview.

A favourite fixture of the show, the Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock, this year promises to be the best yet. Ferry Bouwer’s Yamaha Classic Racing Team will be bringing along eight of the stunning ex factory machines from the collection – many of which will be started both days in the paddock in front of racing fans! Among the jewels on show will be the 125 and 250 fours, both of which can be heard running in all their un-silenced glory.

Former Grand Prix stars, Phil Read and Tommy Robb will be re-united with Yamaha machines from Ferry’s collection – the four cylinder lightweights and 125 Danfay Yamaha respectively. Steve Baker will also be brought back together with his Formula 750 World Championship TZ and the newly restored 250 on which he won Daytona – in what will be its first public airing!

As usual, all the great elements that make up any Stafford Show will be in place; the Bonhams Auction, the Wall of Death, the Classic Dirt Bike experience and trials display, hundreds of trade and autojumble stalls and of course the many stunning club stands – Don’t miss out!

There’s still time to book those advance tickets and not just save money but also beat the queues – visit www.classicbikeshows.com or call 01507 529529 for more information.

Gates open 9am on both days and close 6pm Saturday and 5pm Sunday.
