Dougie Warms Up For Sheffield

12 times World Champion Doug Lampkin is already warming up for the Sheffield Indoor Trial, which kicks off the World Indoor Trials Championship series in January 2009.

Doug Lampkin famously rode up the main staircase, then onto the roof, at Lord March’s Goodwood mansion, as part of the Festival of Speed in 2008 and his uncanny balance on two wheels - or one - has to be seen to be believed.

But winning the 2009 Indoor World Trial Championship won’t be easy, and on Saturday 3rd January 2009, the Sheffield Arena will see riders like Adam Raga, Albert Cabestany and Toni Bou all vying to take the lead, at this opening round of the series.

In the past, the organisers have incorporated features like a 60 foot high waterfall to challenge the skills of the world’s best trials riders, helping to make this a really unique spectacle. Tickets cost £29.50 per adult and £19.50 per child, and are on sale now.
