Ducati offers £1k vouchers on 1198′s
Ducati UK has launched a new superbike promotion that will enable those purchasing a new 1198 or 1198SP model between June 1st and August 31st to receive a £1,000 voucher to spend in-store, on Ducati Performance Accessories or Apparel.
The 1198 and 1198SP are bikes that many bikers aspire to and have already become iconic motorcycles due to their inspirational looks, performance and their successes on and off the race track. The 1198 now comes equipped with DucatiTraction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shifter (DQS) and Ducati Data Analyser (DDA) as standard equipment while the brand new, track-ready 1198 SP rolls out with DTC, DQS, DDA, Ohlins TTX rear suspension, slipper clutch and lightweight aluminium fuel tank.
The application of DTC to the standard model 1198 underlines Ducati’s intention to broaden the use of tried and tested race-derived electronics to its higher powered range, while the introduction of DQS to the 1198 and 1198 SP marks the first time in history that “quick-shift” electronics have been fitted to a production Ducati. These electronics along with the incredible liquid cooled, L-Twin, Desmodromic engine that produces 170hp (125kW) @ 9,750rpm and a class-beating 97lb-ft (13.4kgm) of torque @ 8,000rpm combine to create a stunning motorcycle.
The £1000 voucher will allow new purchasers of the 1198 and 1198SP to choose a wide range of products from the world of Ducati Performance and Ducati Apparel. Whether it is a new helmet, a set of leathers or a set of the almost obligatory Termignoni exhausts there should be plenty to of choices of how to spend the voucher.
