Clock ticks down on bikers’ vote
Bikers wanting to have their say on who should win Britain’s biggest biking contest need to twist the throttle as the voting deadline is looming large for Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash!
Thousands of votes have already been cast on the competition’s official website – www.britainsgotbikingtalent.co.uk – as 50 shortlisted bikes battle it out for a place at the Grand Final. That takes place at the Birmingham NEC hosted Motorcycle Live show when the 12 bikes who received the highest number of votes will be displayed to over 100,000 members of the Great British biking public.
But if bikers want to influence which magnificent machines make it through to that nail-biting climax they only have until midday Wednesday (September 14) to cast their vote.
Once the polls close the votes will be counted to determine which motorcycles will feature on a special Britain’s Got Biking Talent stand on which the ultimate winner will be announced by a celebrity biking guest. The winning bike, which will be drawn from a wide range of entries which span the biking spectrum, will receive a stunning prize package worth nearly £2,300 comprising £1,000 in cash, a Protect A Bike shed and an Envy motorcycle lift.
The runner-up will walk off with a limited edition five-drawer Carl Fogarty rollcab toolbox worth £599 whilst the third prize winner will claim £250 of bike wear, including a pair of Midnight Blue Sartso jeans, Gerbing G3 heated gloves and a Moto One Baselayer top. All twelve bikes will also be professionally photographed with the stunning studio shots of their machines then gracing Carole Nash’s annual calendar which is distributed to over 100,000 bikers.
This year’s competition – the fifth and last ever Britain’s Got Biking Talent with Carole Nash – has been as hard fought as ever with hundreds of entries submitted from across the world of biking. These included home-built customs, eye-catching café racers and race-ready sports bikes.
