Honda dealers head to Belfast
Northern Ireland’s reputed Honda Motorcycle dealers, Allens Honda and Belfast Honda, will fly the flag for Honda UK at this weekend’s Adelaide Motorcycle Festival at King’s Hall, Belfast, by showcasing many of Honda’s 2011 range of machines and new colour schemes.
The all-new and iconic Castrol Honda World Superbike Fireblade of Northern Ireland’s race ace Johnny Rea will take pride of place with the all-new CBR125R standing alongside, as well as the latest Tricolour and Repsol-liveried CBR1000RR Fireblades, the new-for-2011 vibrant orange and silver CBR600RR as well as the award-winning ‘Sports Tourer of the Year’ VFR1200F.
For those preferring a smaller capacity, economical and practical, yet stylish scooter or commuter machine, Honda’s SH300i will be on show alongside learner legal machines including the PCX125, SH125 and Lead 110. The all-new-for-2011 CBR600F and CBR250R will unfortunately not be on display the Adelaide Motorcycle Festival, although they will be available to see and test ride from Allens Honda and Belfast Honda from March.
CB600F Hornet lovers also have a chance to win a piece of Hollywood at the Motorcycle Festival, with the final opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a one-off uniquely liveried and accessorised ‘Green Hornet’ CB600F, inspired by Honda’s association with Sony Pictures and the new ‘The Green Hornet’ blockbuster film. The prize draw closes on Monday 14 February.
Visitors to the Honda stand can try the ‘Power of Lean’ tilting motorcycle stand which provides a life-like sensation of the lean angles experienced by riders on sportier machines. There will also be Honda’s innovative ‘rider trainer’ on hand to enable less experienced riders or those looking to get on two wheels for the first time, the experience of riding whilst in the safety of a static environment.
The Motorcycle Festival opens this Friday, 11 February from 2pm until 10pm, and then between 10am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Whether you enjoy riding on the road, track or off-road, for leisure or for work, on a small capacity scooter or bigger engine tourer for the open road, Honda motorcycles offer a range of machines for every purpose and level of riding experience – and the Belfast Honda and Allens Honda team look forward to welcoming visitors to the Honda stand this weekend.
