Hug your Ninja

Skidmarx have a long association with Kawasaki’s racing activities, they are currently the supplier of race screens to Team MSS Kawasaki in British Superbikes. This partnership continues on the road and now the British bodywork manufacturer has developed a double bubble race screen to pimp up the Ninja 250R.

Skidmarx like to do things properly so these screens are manufactured in the UK by hand using 3mm acrylic. Skidmarx choose this material as it gives them the flexibility to create a variety of shapes and sizes to suit the individual requirements of top race teams. Two versions are produced for the road-going Ninja 250R. The first is a standard size, similar to the original but available in clear, tint or coloured options. The second option is the double bubble, modelled on the race screens. Both are designed to be direct replacements for the original item using the existing mounting points and fasteners. Prices start at £39.95 for the standard and £49.95 for the double bubble.

Matching bling comes in the form of Skidmarx headlight covers. The covers are designed to look good while they protect your valuable light units from stone chips and road debris. Skidmarx again use 3mm acrylic to follow the complex shapes of modern light units. The covers are held securely in place with Scotch Lock fixing pads and retail for £19.50.

Even the Ninja’s derrier gets attention from Skidmarx. The company are offering a rear hugger that bolts directly to existing mounting points and includes an integral chain guard. Manufactured in the UK from GRP glass fibre, the Ninja hugger weighs approximately 600 grams and comes in black at £69.95 inc. VAT. There is also carbon fibre option, at approximately half the weight of GRP, costing £129.95.
