Kawasaki Muc-Off Winter Checks
Skinned knuckles, oil stains on the patio and finding a container for all that old engine lubricant have been banished thanks to a winter motorcycle check promotion that has just been launched by Kawasaki Motors UK.
Run alongside garage and workshop favourite, Muc-Off, the deal at participating franchised Kawasaki road bike dealers covers the essential pre-winter maintenance checks needed for all Kawasaki road bikes.
Including both an oil and filter change, the fifteen point winter check will be undertaken by Kawasaki technicians and includes all the major maintenance and safety areas creating peace of mind in advance of the hardest biking season of the year. And, as an extra bonus, all genuine Kawasaki spare parts needed and used as result of the rigorous fifteen point winter check will also attract a 10% price discount*.
Also included in the £95 price of each Kawasaki pre-winter check will be a complementary Muc-Off ComPac kit worth a cool £15. Having built up an enviable reputation in the world of both motocross and road bike valeting and maintenance, Muc-Off is a high quality product that is used extensively in the workshop at Kawasaki Motors UK.
Speaking about the new initiative, Manager of KMUK’s Technical and Customer Care Department, Richard Metcalfe, emphasised the convenience and value of the offer.
“At this time of year we would recommend that all owners conduct a pre-winter check. Rather than all the inconvenience of an oil and filter change at home, owners of Kawasaki road bikes can now have this and a fifteen point check undertaken at their dealer for a bargain £95 and receive a free Muc-Off ComPac kit and a 10% required service parts discount into the bargain”.

The campaign is available from 1st October 2010 to 28th February 2011
All winter checks must be booked in advance with the participating dealer
The 15 point check, winter preparation and oil/filter change does not constitute or replace normal routine services
The dealer may elect not to try and remove any corroded or seized parts or fixings and having removed such parts may elect not to replace them after removal if the dealer deems the parts to be beyond serviceable standard. Furthermore, the dealer reserves the right to refuse working on any machine that is in a poorly maintained condition
The 15 point check is specified by Kawasaki Motors UK and any additional work required above and beyond the items specifically listed will be at the discretion of the dealer
Charges may be made for any parts used or additional work that is carried out by the dealer identified during prescribed checks with prior agreement of the owner
10% discount on genuine Kawasaki parts can be obtained after agreement on proposed repair following the 15 point check and winter preparation (clothing and accessories are excluded)
To obtain the 10% discount on genuine parts, the total purchase of these parts must in one single transaction, be above £30 including VAT and no higher than £250 inc VAT (excluding labour cost and non genuine parts/accessories)
The machine must be taken to the dealership unless a collection service is provided by your participating dealership
