New Harley Sportster Iron
Harley-Davidson is feeling the pinch and knows its customers are too, which is why the American company has launched a budget, entry-level variant on its Sportster 883 model.
The new Sportster 883N Iron will retail for just £5375 on the road and has a stripped-down, all black styling package, from its front fender to its chainguard. It’s a look that will work for urban riders, looking for regular commuter transport across the city. The 883 Iron could also be a first `proper’ motorcycle for those just passing their bike test, or someone who wants a stylish retro, but isn’t keen on owning a genuine 40 year old classic bike.
The 883N Iron does have modern features like a fuel-injected 883cc V-Twin motor, plus carbon re-inforced belt drive and combination brake and indicator rear lights. There’s an optional pillion back rest available for the new model and it comes in black denim, or brilliant silver colour options. Cast alloy wheels are standard fitment.
The new Harley-Davidson Sportster 883N Iron makes its debut at the Carole Nash sponsored MCN London Motorcycle Show in two days time, at London’s ExCel Docklands Arena.
