New look for Edinburgh H-D
Edinburgh Harley-Davidson will unveil its new look to Scottish motorcycling enthusiasts later this week. The West Mains Road dealership has doubled in size with a substantial investment from parent company Eastern Western Motor Group. Scotland now has one of the largest Harley-Davidson’s showrooms in the whole of the UK.
The grand opening will take place on Saturday 12 June, with the fun starting from midday. Visitors will get to enjoy live music, great offers on Parts, Accessories and Motorclothes® as well as refreshments and a sizzling BBQ.
The Edinburgh showroom has doubled in size and now covers over 500 square metres. The team of 18 highly trained staff are keen to provide an exciting and enjoyable shopping experience for all visitors to the revamped store. The dealerships also see a new café facility, which is four times larger than previous and is more comfortable and inviting.
A full range of new and used Harley-Davidson® motorcycles is on display and visitors can book test rides for the latest 2010 models. With more than 30 motorcycles in the current range, there is plenty of choice for everyone. On display will be the new Forty-Eight motorcycle, riding low and featuring the classic 7.95 litre “peanut” fuel tank, the factory custom backs up its bulldog appearance with the performance of its polished black Evolution 1200cc V-Twin engine – perfect for the summer motorcycling season.
“We look forward to welcoming local riders to our store to introduce the team and show them what’s new,” says Kirk Hale, Dealer Principal. “When it comes to motorcycle sales and servicing we have the best facility in Edinburgh, so we want all motorcycling enthusiasts to feel free to call in for a coffee or a bite to eat and find out more.”
