New Streetfighter price confirmed
The Ducati Streetfighter 848 will be in showrooms priced at £9,995, Ducati has announced.
Ducati’s new naked, which will go on sale in UK dealers at the end of the year, will be available in three colours and will feature Ducati traction control.
Priced under £10,000, the Ducati Streetfighter 848 will be available in yellow with a black frame, all-black and the traditional Ducati red with a red frame.
The new middleweight Streetfighter is part of Ducati’s mix-and-match policy, using the same wheelbase from the existing Streetfighter and transplanting the Testastretta engine from the 848 EVO, although with different cams.
Meanwhile, Ducati UK celebrated its move to new premises at Silverstone this week, with guests being able to sample the Ducati range on a specially arranged Ducati track day.
The construction of the 8,000 square foot premises includes offices, a warehouse, dealer training rooms, a workshop servicing the press and demonstrator fleets (now brought back in-house) and the potential for a retail outlet for the sale of Ducati merchandise during major track events.
“The relocation to Silverstone will enable Ducati UK to work with Silverstone on customer events as we did recently with Ducati Days, making the best use of our demonstrator fleet in an appropriate local environment,” said Tim Maccabee, Managing Director of Ducati UK.
“Ducati is synonymous with motorsport and to be located at Silverstone is the perfect fit for our brand, Silverstone is going through some exciting times and we are delighted to be a part of it.’
