Receiver puts Morini up for auction
Italian manufacturer Moto Morini is to be put up for auction by receiver Piero Aicardi, who hopes to secure €5.5m for the rights to the troubled company’s assets, equipment and intellectual property.
The auction, to be held in April, will see all of Morini’s current building, drawings, blueprints and equipment on the block for a guide price of €5.5m although a sale without assets, estimated to bring in around €2.6m, is also an option.
“The base price includes the auction for the lot of property is € 5,500,000.00,” said Aicardi. “In the event that is not received valid tenders for the whole company including the property, bids will be accepted for the lot consists of the only private company of the apartment complex, in which case the base bid price was set at € 2,600 .000,00 and this price includes two years of right of use of the property on loan.”
