Road Racing Legends 6th Fundraiser

Road Racing Legends next event is to be held on Friday February 11th 2011, comprising an evening with British Superbike Stars, Chris Walker, Neil Hodgson and John Reynolds along with compere y Jamie Whitham, the charity’s patron, at the Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry.

Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and the numbers are strictly limited to 350, all of which will be seated.  Tickets are £20 each and go on sale 1st December 2010.

This will be 6th Road Racing Legends event and to date,  with previous events raising £60,700 for various charities including the Manx Helicopter Fund, Rob Vine fund for private ambulances, purchases of wheelchairs for injured riders, Robert Dunlop Memorial Fund, Nick Crowe & Mark Cox, David Jefferies Memorial Fund, Little Hearts Matters along with supporting local charities and hospices.

February’s event is to raise money for 24 year old Conor Cummins, who sustained serious injuries following an incident on the Verandah in the IOM 2010. Road Racing Legends would like to help support Conor in his ongoing recovery and return to the racing scene

The sponsors of the event next year will be Morris Holdings UK Ltd, Paperway, Morris Lubricants, Oswestry Waste Paper, The Wynnstay Hotel, Now Signs, Ocean Telecom, Footman James, Bonhams, Classic Racer, Red Torpedo, Michelin, Road Racing Ireland, Annsfotos, Ultra Clean, VMCC, Kate Woodhead Estates and OTIS Ltd, BINN Eco Park Limited and MARS Independents.
