Show demonstrates industry strength
The strength of the motorcycle industry will be in evidence at the NEC in six weeks time as Carole Nash Motorcycle Live 2010 gets underway with the highest ever level of manufacturer support.
Whilst it was confirmed recently that the British International Motor Show, which was cancelled in 2010 due to the economic downturn, will not be reinstated in 2012, Carole Nash Motorcycle Live is already shaping up to be a huge success as it prepares to open up its doors at the NEC in Birmingham.
More than 30 of the biggest names in motorcycling will appear at rebranded show, which runs from 27 November to 5 December, including Honda, Ducati, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW and British favourites Triumph and Norton to name but a few. They will be joined by a whole host of other exhibitors, racing stars and interactive features – all aimed at bringing the world of two wheels to life for visitors of all ages.
“I am sorry to hear that British International Motor Show will not make a return in 2012,” says Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, organisers of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live. “The past couple of years have been difficult and the Motorcycle Industry has certainly not been exempt from those pressures. However, with increased positive support from the Trade and Industry set to encourage both new and existing riders to visit this year’s event, it should help to turn the sales of motorcycles, scooters and all associated products back into an upward trend in 2011.”
Carole Nash Motorcycle Live runs from November 27 – December 5. Tickets are £15 in advance for adults, £10 for Seniors, £5 for children aged 11-16 – kids under 10 go free. Go to www.motorcyclelive.co.uk for details.
