Silverstone early bird deadline approaches

British MotoGP fans have just over a week to secure  a 20% discount on tickets to the 2011 Air Asia British Grand Prix, with organisers expecting an increase in interest next year thanks to the return of a British presence on circuit.

Cal Crutchlow will fly the flag for Great Britain in 2011 and Silverstone bosses are urging fans to back the Coventry-born rider on 10-12 June by booking their places early, with discounts of up to 20% available for fans who book before 5pm (GMT) on Monday 22 November.

British fans will have riders to back in all free classes next season, with Scott Redding racing in the 125cc class whilst Bradley Smith will fly the flag in Moto2.

MotoGP returned to Silverstone last season for the first time since 1986 and it is hoped that the event will see an increase in the 70,123 fans that turned up in 2010.

MotoGP tickets, booked via www.silverstone.co.uk before the early-bird deadline are available at just £12.80 for Friday practice whilst weekend Tickets, for all three days (Friday 10 June – Sunday 12 June 2011), are available to purchase for as little as £56.
