Star studded launch for Bike Show
The great and the good of the biking community gathered in central London on Thursday for the glitzy launch of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live. As WSB stars Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea mingled with journalists and industry big-wigs, celebrity fairy dust was sprinkled over the gathering by the likes of Hollyoaks’ actresses Gemma Atkinson and Hayley Tamaddon, Blue’s Simon Webbe and Red Dwarf’s Danny John-Jules.
Moto-sports telly presenters Matt Roberts and Jennie Gow were also among those eagerly anticipating the show opening at the NEC on Saturday November 27th.
The event, hosted high up the capital’s landmark Centre Point, was kick-started by a punchy film which promoted the thrill of two-wheels, demonstrating how biking a passion not simply about getting from A to B. That great biking ambassador Steve Parrish was also on hand to host a Q&A session during which key industry figures tackled posers presented by the media.
Finlay McAllan, managing director of MCI Exhibitions who’s been behind 20 of the annual bike shows was in an understandably excitable mood as he enthused that this year’s is “the best show we’ve ever organised”.
The organisers have now posted a video on youtube so that bikers can get a taste of the launch and, of course, the treats that are in store at the NEC.
