Stereophonics’ Jones buys Hayabusa
Bass player with the Stereophonics and long-standing motorcycle enthusiast Richard Jones has chosen the Suzuki Hayabusa as his new 2009 machine, after owning the B-King in 2008.
Jones, who has recently moved out of London into the countryside, hopes to find more time to enjoy his GSX1300R and plans to do some long distance commuting on the sports-tourer.
“The Hayabusa has such a reputation, it’s one of those bikes that everyone should ride at some point.” commented Richard, “If I’m being honest, travelling longer distances is just a bit of an excuse – just don’t tell the wife!”
The Stereophonics have been one of the top UK rock bands of the last decade, with hits including Dakota, Mr Writer and Have A Nice Day to their credit. The band can be seen playing live at various festivals this summer. Richard has owned several machines over the years and is a fan of the legendary Aberdare Park road races, which are held annually in South Wales each July.
