Supercar & Superbike start-up

Visitors to Beaulieu this Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August, have a treat in store with an opportunity to hear the unique melodies created by the multi-cylinder engines of a number of the National Motor Museum’s most prestigious supercars and superbikes, as they are put through their start-up paces in the Beaulieu Arena.

The line up will range from some of the earliest supercars in the Museum’s collection including the 1903 De Dietrich, the 7.4 litre 1909 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and the 4.5 litre 1930 Blower Bentley Le Mans replica. Joining them, and bringing the line-up bang up to date, will be an Alfa Romeo 8C and a McLaren F1 GTR.

Supercar Start-up will take place at 12 noon and again at 4pm and can be enjoyed as part of a visit to the whole Beaulieu Attraction including the World of Top Gear’ exhibition. For more information visit: www.beaulieuevents.co.uk
