New Winter Classic Show Announced
January: It used to be Britain’s most boring month, but not anymore because, as of next year, there’s a brand new classic bike show from the people who bring you the Stafford and Bristol spectaculars!
The Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic Show runs over the weekend of January 7-8, 2012 at the Newark County Showground. And the organisers are planning the best restoration show yet. With hundreds of beautiful classic bikes to admire and hundreds of trade stalls and dealers too – the show will be perfect place to grab some inspiration and a boxful of parts to get your project finished in plenty of time for summer.
Classic Bike Guide magazine editor, Nigel Clark said, “We’ve recently revamped and broadened CBG to include more bikes from more eras. What we really needed though was a live event to bring the magazine to life. What better place to do that than, ahem, Newark in January. Thankfully, it’ll all be indoors and the halls at Newark are generously heated. It’s been a long while since anyone north of Bristol had a decent bike show to visit before Stafford and we are planning to make The CBG Winter Classic a show to rival anything. We know that for many enthusiasts in the south, the Bristol show is their first chance to show off a new restoration, we’d like this show to become a showcase for northern talent too.”
