Bird Motorsport rev up for 2009
Whilst many teams are struggling to keep sponsors, or find new backing to replace those who have pulled out of bikesport, Paul Bird Motorsport has been lucky enough to retain Kick Energy and Vent Axia.
The deal for 2009 means that PBM will be running the official Kawasaki World Superbike team this season, with Tamada and Broc Parkes as their two riders.
Vent Axia has been involved with Paul Bird Motorsport for some years now and the latest deal means the company will have its branding on Paul’s rally car, as well as the team’s Kawasaki bikes.
The PBM Kawasaki Superbike team will be testing later this month at the new Portimao circuit in Portugal, then getting ready for the season-opener, which is scheduled for March 1st at Philip Island, Australia.
