Costello Redmond Racing Debut
A new race team made its debut at the weekend. Costello-Redmond Racing competed at Mallory Park yesterday, with five riders in the Hottrax TAG Endurance series. Maria Costello, fastest lady around the famous TT course was in the 3 hour race, whilst Derek Redmond, former world 400m sprinter, was in the six hour event.
The team is a showcase for new talent, and Team Principal Maria Costello is excited about the season ahead;
“The fresh approach and enthusiasm that my team-mates have shown has renewed my own excitement for the sport.” said Costello, who was racing alongside Jon Leach – with the youngster in only his second ever road race.
“We will be travelling to every race with the intention of wining, and enjoying this spectacular sport.” added Redmond.
