Dean Ellison Ready For Snetterton

The word from D & B Racing, looking ahead to the weekend’s action;

D&B Ducati Rider, Dean Ellison heads into this weekend’s race at Snetterton with his head held high. With one of his highest positions to date under his belt at Silverstone, a 7th place in race one (ahead of Steve Hislop, 2002 BSB Champ) surely that is a sign of something to come.

Although Dean suffered a DNF in race two he is looking forward to the race at Snetterton commenting, “I’m glad to have got the first race of the season out the way as you can never be sure how things will pan out. I felt happy on the bike in race one. Snetterton is a very fast track and I’m confident that I can keep up to speed with the top lads.”

Snetterton is renowned for being one of the fastest tracks in the UK. Situated near Norwich there is always a healthy gathering of spectators willing on the astounding antics of Britain’s best Superbike riders.

It was here last year that staged one of the biggest crashes of the season where team mates, Michael Rutter and Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne collided with each other at the end of the straight. Wiping each other out in a spectacular 180mph get off.

Dean will be looking at remaining focused and determined this weekend, hoping to consolidate on a respectable start to the season and further add to his points tally.
