Dunlop dominates NW200

William Dunlop and Dunlop tyres had a very good time at the NW200 race meeting in Northern Ireland last weekend.

William Dunlop took victory in both the 125 and 250 classes, using the UK-made Dunlop race tyres, whilst Steve Plater and Michael Dunlop took 1st and 3rd places respectively in the 600cc Supersport event.  Plater also took the win in the prestigious Superbike race, ahead of Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness.

The NW200 is seen as a precursor for the TT races, and is a similar `real roads’ type of event, with top speeds in the Superbike class races of over 200mph being recorded, on the public roads based circuit.
