Farquhar takes four wins
Ryan Farquhar took four wins from four races at the Mid-Antrim meeting last weekend, taking victory in Superbikes, Supersport 600, Supertwins and the Grand Final event.
Rain affected the racing, and made conditios slippy, with some mud on the track in places, but Farquhar raised his race win tally to 49 this season, and 114 in total, just a few behind the legendary Joey Dunlop’s 119 race victory career total.
“I don’t know when this run will end, ” said Farquhar, after taking a close win from William Dunlop in the Supersport 600 event by just 1.7 seconds, “but I hope it keeps going for a few races yet.” added the Q8 Oils sponsored rider.
Farquhar led the Grand Final event from start to finish, setting a new lap record of 106.7mph.
