TT 2007; Friday night Practice
Friday evening practice was cut short after one lap for superbikes and supersport machines, as three bikes crashed out near Black Dub. One machine was reported to have caught fire, which in turn set fire to a hedge near the circuit.
There were no immediate reports of serious injuries to any of the riders involved.
Superbike favourite John McGuinness set a 124mph average from a standing start and about half a dozen other riders were in the 121-124mph bracket as well.
The conditions for today’s (Saturday) race look cloudy with a strong chance of mist and rain on the mountain section.
