Wednesday Morning TT Practice
Wet conditions once again over on the Island, as riders woke early for practice. Organisers delayed the practice session to allow for a possible break in the weather, but it stayed wet and many riders declined to go out.

About 30 solos went out around 6.15 a.m. including Bruce Anstey, who hustled his big GSXR1000 around at an average of 92mph on wet roads. Wirral rider Mike Hose took his Triumph Daytona around at a more modest 75mph average speed. Chris Grose was fastest in the 125cc class, with an impressive 87mph lap speed.
Fastest guys so far are still Dave Jefferies, Adrian Archibald and Jim Moodie in the big bike classes, with Moodie and Jefferies predicted to break lap records during next week’s racing - assuming the weather picks up, as is forecast for the weekend.
