Camier continues top form
Brit superstar, Leon Camier has confirmed his outstanding championship leading performance by topping both free practice sessions, at Cadwell Park this weekend.
Having topped the first practice times, the 23 year-old again stormed to the top of the timing sheets this afternoon, just heading rookie Ian Lowry, who had ended up sixth after practice one, with a quicker time than the opening practice session. Being the only rider to set a time beneath the 1:28 seconds lap time, hot shot Camier to steal top spot ahead of tomorrow’s Roll for Pole qualifying shootout.
Stuart Easton powered his Hydrex Honda to third quickest, with Simon Andrews fourth. The Buildbase Kawasaki of John Laverty took a respectable fifth fastest time, while Karl Harris managed sixth just behind him.
Mirror.co.uk Cup leader, Gary Mason, on the Quay Garage Honda, recorded the seventh fastest time, following on from his fourth quickest time in practice one, with Graeme Gowland, Julien Da Costa and Sylvain Guintoli completing the top ten and also the remaining BSB action for the day.
With an exciting qualifying session ahead of the BSB riders tomorrow, Bank Holiday weekend at Cadwell Park is looking set to be another thrilling bout of races.
