GNS Racing Quit British Supersport

2010 British Supersport Champions GNS Racing have made the reluctant decision not to compete in 2011, due to budget constraints.

The Southampton-based team, owned and run by Gary Stubbington, convincingly won the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport title with Sam Lowes in their debut season as well as scoring World Supersport Championship points at Silverstone and the team were hoping to move into the BSB-EVO class for 2011.

“Whilst we have done our best to try to raise the necessary funding, there is simply no point going racing if you don’t have the budget and sadly that’s the case. Both Sam and the team did a wonderful job last year and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them as well as our sponsors and we hope to be back in 2012,” said Gary Stubbington.
