Lorenzo to do battle with F1 star
Jorge Lorenzo will fly the flag for the world of MotoGP at a special end-of-season karting event organised by F1 star Felipe Massa.
The Yamaha rider is the first name from the world of motorsport to confirm his attendance, with the likes of Pastor Maldonado, Adrian Sutil and Sergio Perez also likely to attend.
“Yes, we have just received an OK from him”, said Massa, who organises the event for the sixth year in a row.
But former F1 champion Michael Schumacher will not take part in the event in Florianopolis on December 3-4 , due to a clash with the Race of Champions in Dusseldorf.
“There is a clash of dates with the Race of Champions, so he will not come,” Massa said.
