Paris launches 125 team in Madrid
Paris Hilton officially launched SuperMartxé VIP by Paris Hilton team on Saturday with a typically Hollywood-style ceremony in Madrid.
The American socialite stood alongside riders Sergio Gadea and Maverick Viñales to officially launch the team, which will compete in the 125cc championship.
The pair will ride eye-catching Aprilia RSA’s in 2011 with a pink, white and blue livery, which took centre stage in a ceremony that included all of the razzmatazz that you would associate with a Hollywood party.
The team will be managed by Raúl Romero, with an intention to fight for the 125cc title in 2011 – the last season of 125s before the change to Moto2. The sporting and technical director will be Ricard Jové whilst the highly accomplished Rossano Brazzi, who has previously worked alongside Valentino Rossi and Max Biaggi, will be responsible for the preparation of the bikes.
Hilton also expressed her intention to be present at as many rounds of the 2011 World Championship as possible.
