Pedrosa continues domination in second Brno session
Dani Pedrosa continued his domination of Friday’s free practice by posting the fastest time in the second session in Brno.
After lapping almost a second faster than Casey Stoner in the morning session, Pedrosa again out-performed his teammate to post a second-session fastest of 1:56.454.
The time, 0.126 seconds slower than his first session time, was still 0.377 seconds faster than Stoner, with Marco Simoncelli completing the top three.
In fact, the top six in the afternoon session was exactly the same as morning outing, with Lorenzo, Dovizioso and Spies completing the six.
Ducati’s Valentino Rossi had a much better second session, shaving more than a second off his earlier time to record the seventh fastest time, ahead of Alvaro Bautista, Cal Crutchlow and John Hopkins.
Rossi’s teammate, Nicky Hayden, had another forgettable session with the 14th fastest time whilst Randy de Puniet, already carrying an injury, crashed without further harm at the end of the afternoon.
