Redding & Marquez top time charts
Scott Redding and current 125cc champion Marc Márquez topped the time charts on the final day of Moto2 testing in Valencia, each posting an unofficial time of 1:35.6.
The pair, who couldn’t be split on Friday when they shared joint-fifth position, shaved a full second off their times to finish the weekend on top of the time charts on Saturday.
It was a good day for the Suter teams, with five bikes in the top seven, whilst Gresini Racing had both Yuki Takahashi and Michele Pirro in the top ten.
Julian Simon was third fastest whilst Takahashi, Thomas Lüthi and Stefan Bradl all lapped at 1:36.0. Andrea Iannone and Aleix Espargaro lapped at 1:36.1, ahead of Alex De Angelis and Pirro.
