Silverstone offer show-goers 20% off MotoGP tickets
Silverstone Circuit are offering visitors to this year’s Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show up to 20% off tickets to the British MotoGP in June as well as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be one of the first people ever to ride the new Silverstone Circuit.
Representatives from Silverstone Circuit, which will host the British motorcycle Grand Prix for the first time since 1986, will be present at the NEC Bike Show from November 28 – December 6 at Stand D60 (Hall 1) to give fans the opportunity to get a closer look at the circuits plans for MotoGP in 2010.
Silverstone will take over from Donington Park next season and is already undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment which will make it the fastest circuit on the calendar in 2010.
Central to the refurbishment is the new “Arena” section which will create a dramatic new focal point on the circuit which will see riders leave the existing circuit just before the Abbey turn, head infield on the new straight towards the Arena compact before turning left, close to Maggots, onto the club straight. Other improvements include the introduction of a number of raised areas as well as the removal of large sections of perimeter fencing.
And the circuit is offering a number of exclusive deals for visitors to the NEC Show, including the opportunity to claim up to 20% the face value of MotoGP tickets purchased at the show. Visitors can also claim an additional 20% off on hospitality packages for the event, which takes place on June 18-20.
If that wasn’t enough, Silverstone is offering one lucky biker from each day the opportunity to be one of the first to ride the new circuit when it is officially opened next year. Simply visit the stand and enter your name into the free prize draw.
Also at the stand will be 2009 World Champion Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha M1, alongside Casey Stoner’s Ducati Desmosedici GP9 and Loris Capirossi’s Suzuki GSV-R.
