Stoner fastest as Honda dominate Sepang test

Casey Stoner topped the time sheets for the second day in a row as Repsol Honda dominated proceedings during the second day of testing in Sepang.

Stoner posted a time of 2:00.171 in the second day of testing, more than eight tenths of a second quicker than the fastest time from day one, on what was another superb day of testing for the factory Honda riders.

Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovisiozo were second and third fastest respectively whilst the Gresini Honda pair of Marco Simoncelli and Hiroshi Aoyama were sixth and seventh fastest.

Only the factory Yamaha pair of Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo prevented an all-Honda top five, with the Yamaha riders both dipping under the 2:01 mark.

Valentino Rossi sat out the second day of testing with an illness, leaving Nicky Hayden to pilot the Ducati around the Malaysia circuit in the 12^th fastest time.

After crashing twice yesterday, it was another disappointing day for British rider Cal Crutchlow, who ended the day 18^th fastest.
