British fans will be able to watch the World Superbike championship live in high definition this season after British Eurosport confirmed.

The championship, which starts on Saturday in Australia, will be screened live on British Eurosport on digital television in its entirety, as well as being streamed online on the Eurosport Player, a service available to subscribers using either a computer or the Eurosport Player application for iPhone and iPod Touch (UK users only).

From the second round of the championship, both races and qualifying will be screened on British Eurosport and in high definition on Eurosport HD (Sky channel 412).

Commentator Jack Burnicle retains his place in the commentary box alongside pundit Jamie Whitham while Tony Carter will be joined by a host of guests over the course of the season in Eurosport’s World Superbikes studio.

Coverage of the championship starts on Saturday at 4:00am (GMT) on British Eurosport 2 (Sky channel 411) with live coverage of the Superpole qualifying from Phillip Island. Repeats will be screened at 9:00am, 12:15pm, 3:15pm and 10:30pm.
