Talmacsi to test WSB Kawasaki
Former 125GP champion Gabor Talmacsi has confirmed he will take part in a test for the Pedercini Kawasaki World Superbike team in Sepang, with a view to securing a permanent ride with the team for 2011.
The Hungarian rider, who has had unsuccessful stints in MotoGP, has confirmed that he will be part of a six-man testing team for Kawasaki later this month with the satellite Pedercini team in Malaysia, as the Japanese manufacturer embarks on an extensive programme to turn around its poor results in WSB competition.
Posting a message on his personal website, Talmacsi stated that he will partake in the four-day Malaysian test, starting on 10th January.
The 29-year-old also revealed that, should he not pursue a deal in World Superbikes, he will consider retirement from the sport.
