Disappointed at Cadwell
Hiya all
been to Cadwell this weekend what a hard weekend it’s been! At the test on Monday the bike felt good but when we got to the race weekend and we were trying to go 1.5 seconds faster than the test that’s when it began to get hard.
Every time we tried to go faster, the bike just wouldn’t let me. We changed almost everything on the bike, this wasn’t all we had a few other problems, the bike kept cutting out we found out that was just a switch gear on the bike, it was like it just wasn’t meant to be.
In the end we found a setting that we felt was the best one to go with but it still wasn’t quite like I wanted it to be. It made my job harder in the race because we had a bad qualifying, we had to come from quite far back in the race, I was going well in a good position until halfway into the race the rear shock over heated, luckily I managed to finish the race.
I was a little disappointed for the fact that I still haven’t mounted the podium yet but there is more to come, its only a matter of time before we get the right set. Now I have the world Superbike round to look forward to, I have been invited to ride in the world Suzuki 750 cup, I’m really looking forward to it, so speak to you all soon!
