Sunday snow at Brands
Hiya everyone. Well, what a weekend that was!
The racing season always seems to zoom up on you at the last minute, even for the teams that have been busy testing in hotter climates rather than good old Britain. But we got everything sorted and arrived at Brands Hatch for round one of the series.
In practice, it soon showed that we still have to find the right set-up for the front suspension but like before, it’s not far off and I’m confident we can get better but at this level of competition, you need everything working spot on.
On Saturday evening we went to the new Relentless hospitality. It turns out that they have a hot-tub in there and…well, let’s just say that it would be rude not too take advantage of the facilities!
Sunday morning arrived and so did the snow. If the weekend proved nothing else, one thing is for sure - weather forecasting is getting better! They said all week it was going to snow and it sure did.
Racing was cancelled and re-scheduled for May 10th -11th but at least I got the podium in the snowballing competition!
