Arai Chaser Schwantz rep
Phoenix Distribution have announced two new colour schemes for the Arai Chaser helmet; a Kevin Schwantz replica, and a fluorescent yellow.
Kevin Schwantz remains one of the most popular Grand Prix racers from the 1990s and the Arai Chaser gets a modern version of his racing colours from the 1993 season, aboard the RGV500 Suzuki. The helmet paintwork features elements from Schwantz’s past racing career, including the Texas Lone Star, the famous 34 number, and the Lucky Strike cigarette brand, which was featured on the factory Suzukis of the GP 500 era in the 90s. The Schwantz rep Chaser retails for £369.99.
Meanwhile, riders who want to stand out from the crowd should consider the Arai Chaser Fluor model, which has a high-visibility, all over yellow paint scheme. If you’re riding through the dark winter mornings and evenings, then perhaps this paint scheme will catch the eye of any less than alert car drivers, lurking at a T-junctions. The Fluor retails for £319.99.
Both Arai Chaser models feature a superb complex super-laminate outer shell, triple density inner shell, removable cheek pads, a D-ring chinstrap fastening and numerous air vents for excellent rider comfort, and a clear visor in damp weather conditions. There’s a five year warranty on the Chaser range, which starts at £309.99 and features 32 different designs.
