Bespoke Helmets, Italian Style
Spotted at the Trade Expo 2009, this is a Steven Gerrard custom painted, leather-covered, open face motorcycle or scooter riding helmet, made in Italy.
The company, Helmets Creativity, have a long history in the leather trade and have developed a special technique of applying any custom design, graphic, photo etc. to leather material, which is then stretched across the shell of the helmet. The helmets meet the ECE 22.5 safety standards.
Company boss Roberto told insidebikes that everything was 100% Made in Italy, and hand-made as well. Helmets Creativity already have a large catalogue of designs ready made, including Route 66, Burberry pattern, 70s style denim with badges, Camo, Italian tricolore etc.
Helmets Creativity were at the UK trade event looking to establish a dealer network, but anyone who has a motorcycle club design, logo, photo, or a unique idea of how they want to customise their lid can find out more at;
