BMW HP Race Cover Kit
BMW Motorrad has announced the latest addition to its High Performance Parts range of accessories: the HP Race Cover Kit. The kit allows the aesthetics of the S 1000 RR to be maintained when preparing the bike for track use.
Owners intending to enjoy the sportier aspects of their S 1000 RR on a circuit may choose, or be required, to take off the number plate hanger, mirrors and indicators - all of which have been designed to facilitate simple and easy removal. The new HP Race Cover Kit replaces these road-use parts, neatly masking any gaps and fittings.
The five-piece cover set is manufactured from impact-resistant black polyamide plastic, is easily affixed to the bike using screws and can be painted to match bodywork. The kit is supplied in a lightweight blue cloth bag for storing the covers or removed items.
Also available are a set of insulated blanking caps which slip onto the brake light and indicator connectors once they have been removed.
The HP Race Cover Kit is available now from BMW Motorrad Dealerships at a cost of £41.50.
