Cold Killers 2009 winter range
Cold Killers have revamped their range of rider clothing for winter 2009.
Riding a motorcycle in cold weather can be challenging, with low temperatures causing numb fingers and toes, plus the cold slows down reaction times and makes you lose concentration. That can be dangerous, so if you need to ride to work all year round, or enjoy touring at higher altitudes, then Cold Killers could be very useful.
The new Cold KIillers range has been redesigned, with wider neck sizes, and longer lengths in both mens and ladies tops, to help keep the worst of winter at bay. The same three-ply construction applies, with a fleecy outer layer, plus a waterproof membrane sandwiched in the middle of the stretchy fabric.
Johhny Haynes, who works as an instructor at the California Superbike School uses Cold Killers beneath his leathers;
“One thing I hate is undersuits which bunch up when you’re wearing leathers all day,” says Johnny, “but the CK stuff is very comfortable, and it does the job on cold, wet days.”
Enduro rider Kirsty Johnson tried Cold Killers when off-roading in Wales;
“The CK clothing is light enough to stash inside a backpack when riding off-road, yet waterproof, and they keep your body at just the right temperature.”
The Cold Killers range for 2009 includes tops, pants, gloves, neck tubes and balaclavas. For information on stockists and prices, please visit; www.coldkillers.co.uk
